Update from Caroline:

Yesterday we arrived in Constanta, Romania after spending a few days in Sofia, Bulgaria. Before that we spent two weeks in Serbia, doing a midterm Outreach.

I had the amazing opportunity to meet a woman who is the only known believer in Cacak, Serbia. We were able to visit her house and give her much needed support. She is amazing in the strength of her faith. It has been really interesting to learn about the different world views of Christians in Europe. We’ve been learning about the Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church. Very eye opening. Tradition is so important in this part of the world.

We have done some street evangelism (scary for me) and organized some art nights and game nights with people in the city. It was a lot of fun meeting new people and getting involved with some of the local university students. I met people from Jordan and Germany. Street evangelism was scary at first (still kind of is) but I’m starting to warm up to it more. We handed out Bibles in Serbian and I played guitar with a another team mate of mine who played his saxophone.

Thank you for praying for my health during the last couple months. Thankfully, I am doing much better.

In Romania we are staying in the YWAM Base House which is about 5 min walking distance from the Black Sea! There are several refugees staying with us as they wait for the next leg of their journey. Here we will continue our classes and spend the next four weeks learning alongside any opportunities to serve followed by two weeks helping to build a home in Cluj, Romania. Thank you all for your prayers and care!
