MamaBear 5K

Caroline loves to run and I have wanted to find something to help encourage her
and also spend some extra time with her.

We signed up for the MamaBear 5K and had such a fun time Saturday morning as we wore ourselves out!  We realized, a couple weeks before, that Uncle Chris had signed up too so we had a fun morning together with the Torres family.

My back/neck limit me a bit and I'm not able to endure the impact of running but I can speed walk so Caroline jogged ahead of me while I walked the 5K.  It is not only an accomplishment for Caroline but also for me as I haven't been able to work out hard in several years because of my back.
There was definitely some triumph when we crossed the finish line!
