Dose of Reality
Looking back over the cute pictures I've posted this past month makes me see that there needs to be a little dose of reality added to my pages. Because, oiy, there is reality sprinkled all over today.
This evening began with one child, after another, using every bit of energy they could muster to do exactly the opposite of what I asked. Exactly.the.opposite.
...and I am so over it.
But this makes me feel a lot better.
The shelves are finally done and I got to add the fun finishing touches to them. Need some more toilet paper to add to the stack and maybe something branchy coming from the white crock. Other than that, this easy project is done! I really love having a handy husband.
Here is the Pinterest picture we stole the idea from. (these are stained 2 x 12 boards, total cost $8.48)

Okay, Elizabeth, I just have to let you know that I read part of your post incorrectly. I thought you said "crack" instead of "crock." Putting my mistake in context with your redecorated restroom made me think your kids were really making you lose it today. :)
ReplyDeleteI really need to check out pinterest!!!
ReplyDeleteGREAT job - love it!!
