It's my birthday!

I love my birthday because of my birthday month.  I absolutely LOVE fall and LOVE October!  We were going to enjoy a birthday camping trip, like last year, but since Doster is sick we stayed home and enjoyed some family time indoors.  Friday evening we were going to have my parents and Katie's family over to our campsite to celebrate mine and my Dad's birthday so we changed those plans too and had everyone over to our house.

Doster did great and hung in there, coughing quite a bit, but loved having everyone around him after a week of laying around.  The hardest part was not getting to love on his sweet Rosemary.  She ran up to him and grinned so big, expecting the typical clobbering of love hugs and lifts from Doster but only got a pat on the head.  Great self control by Doster and it was so sweet to see their expectation of each other when they get to be together.  They are so sweet and in love.

Here are a few family pictures, we got some great ones with their Grandpa and Grandma...what a fun night my husband treated me to.  I didn't have to think about a thing except to enjoy my family.

Oh, and I'm 34...according to my kids.  I can't keep up.  Every year I have to ask them how old I am.  :)
