Nine Years ago today....

I can't believe it has been nine years since our Sunshine 

was born and changed our world.  

We've learned so much through this precious little life 

and we are excited, beyond measure, 

for the moments ahead.

She has been having fun with carrying a purse lately...
so she got a real purse for her birthday.  

Since receiving this gem on Saturday it hasn't left her shoulder...
on the swing set, 

by her bed, and at the table.  She loves it.  

(and, shhh don't tell, but her purse, dress and three books ALL came from Goodwill and were washed, 

pressed and ready for Caroline to enjoy and we didn't stress once about the cost of her birthday :) )

I've always loved watching the kid's expressions 

as we sing Happy Birthday to them.  

So precious as they look around the table at all the faces and enjoy 

the love they feel from each person.
