Moving on...

As each of the children have reached different milestones I've always had a mixture of excitement for what is next and sadness for what is being left behind.  I try to find a balance to this combined emotion because I really want to experience the moment with the kids as they transition and
be excited to celebrate with them.

Mary Anna is very excited to be in a big girl bed next to Sissy this weekend.  When I told her about it she kept clapping her hands saying "I excited, I excited!"  It is so fun to see their joy in the small things.

Our crib was purchased, 10 years ago, with a savings bond my Grandpa & Grandma Bergen bought for me when I was born.  We cashed it in and went shopping for the crib that would hold our babies through the years.  Now, as I clean this crib and put it away I will be looking forward to the day we unpack and assemble it again to hold some sweet grand babies as they rest in our home.
