Friendship

I love long time friends who warm the heart, no matter the circumstances, the passing of time, or the road that the friendship may travel.

This weekend we were able to love on a sweet friend of Caroline's....who is actually the daughter of a dear friend of mine going back 12+ years.

When looking at the girl's playing and loving on each other I can honestly say that each and every joy, hurt, trial and celebration in their Mommy's relationship is evidenced in their relationship....because it exists.

Because of our commitment to our friendship over the years, these two little girls have had the opportunity to grow up together...playing together as infants on a blanket on the floor almost nine years ago and now enjoying the fun of play as little girls...celebrating birthdays, being silly, playing pretend, watching movies, and, of course - reading!

I'm so thankful for both of these friendships and am grateful for the loyalty and commitment to persevere that the Lord has blessed the Mommies with!  

Our lives are richer because of the road we've traveled together.
