Simon
Doster woke up this morning ready for their early drive to pick up Simon.
He stretched saying "it's puppy time!"
He stretched saying "it's puppy time!"
When they arrived the owner was honest enough to show Jason the difference between our chocolate lab and a yellow lab from another litter. Apparently our chocolate pup came from a first time mom who wasn't doing a great job being a mommy. He hadn't grown since we had been there and he wasn't very responsive. The owner had been receiving calls from other adopted families from this same litter saying their puppies weren't playful or responsive.
The chocolate pup never moved or responded while the yellow lab sweetly played with tail wagging and loved on Doster. The difference was amazing. While our first choice was chocolate we felt we couldn't take the chance that something would be wrong bc of the kid's attachment.
So, here is our new puppy....Simon!
Doster is, quite possibly, the happiest boy in the world at this moment.
