Lights of Mine

Yesterday on the Today Show they talked about a website that is solely based on helping people connect to have an affair.  The entire site is geared towards people searching to find a way to cheat on their spouse and a way to connect them - a dating site of sorts.  I was glad The Today Show talked about how damaging the site is.

Then today they showed a website on one college university that is run solely for casual sex.  You become a member to find someone who is just looking for a one night stand - no relationship.  Again, they talked about how damaging it is, which I was pleased with.

It just saddens me.  It all seems so out of control and we're trying to raise 3 Godly and wholesome children in this mess of our world.  Just breaks my heart.

It is our responsibility as parents, of these precious children we've been trusted with, to show them the way in the darkness....to teach them where to find the light and to BE the light.  We have to teach them how to protect their hearts and minds amidst all the darkness satan is trying so desperately to surround them with as they grow.

Ephesians 5:15-17 states: "Look carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, making the best use of your time, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is."
