Not always perfect but yet...oh, so perfect
In my work I see beautiful pictures daily and I am constantly trying to get better at taking my own pictures as it makes it a lot more fun to edit and I love seeing such precious pictures of my family.
But, I'm just a mom snapping pictures of my kids...there isn't any professionalism here. So, quite often the lighting is bad, the background is cluttered, the faces are too dark, etc etc.
Yesterday I took the girls to a park to take some pictures for a few minutes before needing to be somewhere. It was 3:00 in the afternoon and a bright sunny day. AUGH! Shadows and bright light and squinty eyes left me very frusterated. Until this morning as I was looking through the images...
Not one is photographic genius. Not one is gorgeously perfect. BUT, look at the sweetness between my girls. I captured, in all my amateur-ness, their relationship. Which, in the end, is all I truly want anyway. Sure, I'd love for these to be some breathtakingly talented pictures, but instead they are breathtakingly beautiful pictures because the sweet essence of their relationship was captured forever. And I'm perfectly fine with the result. :)

Well... the pictures look about as professional as they come, but how could they look otherwise with such gorgeous girls! We miss those faces!
