I've found my way here again...

It would seem as if I am intentionally fullfilling a New Year's Resolution to blog more....but I'm not.  What I'm doing is living out 'me' a little more these last few weeks and at the end of this time it has brought me here to this blog more often.

I've spent my days out of my office for about 2 weeks now.  While it is uncomfortable to not create income, it has been a very healthy break for me.  I have cleaned out cupboards, scrubbed my house, vacuumed more often, enjoyed cooking great meals (despite my two picky eaters not eating much of them), actually enjoyed folding laundry, played with the kids, snuggled with my children, truly spent time with them and took a bit of time reclaiming my home. 

These are all 'me' kind of things. 

 Its what feeds 'me'. 

 
Making a home for my family is such a blessing for me and gives me energy and joy. 

And I want more of it! 

 
I'll be ready to return to work when the time comes, but it will be a bit more controlled this year with a few parameters I'm putting in place.  Next step is to pray for the strength to enforce them. 

 
I'll definitely still be busy and find myself overwhelmed at times, but I'm trying to go the intentional route and make sure I remember 'me' in all the craziness because separating 'me' out from time to time means that my family benefits, my home benefits and, most importantly, my relationship with my Lord benefits.

I might try making sure I'm in more pictures with my family too because I spent a LOT of time searching for these.  :)
