Costume Parade
This morning Doster and Mary Anna had a Costume Parade at the preschool they both attend. Doster goes 4 mornings a week and is learning by leaps and bounds. It is so fun to hear him spelling words and trying to sound them out and read like the rest of us. This year has been SO good for him. Mary Anna goes to a Mother's Morning Out program 2 mornings a week so that I can have 2 mornings to work without interruption. She loves her teachers and raises those arms high when they come to pick her up from the van in the morning.
I dropped the kids off in their costumes and then settled in to wait for the sweeties to come across the stage, armed with camera and flip video. Of course, not much turned out because I was trying to do both at the same time. :) I had taken them on the back deck before we left for a few pictures so, thankfully, I have those to document their special day.
It was a fun morning followed by donuts and milk served to the parents and children by their wonderful teachers. What fun!
Here are a few pictures of my Indian and my Cupcake.
