Doster's First T-Ball Game
Tonight was so fun to watch Doster's first T-Ball game. We watched him get tumbled over and hit in the chest with a ball with only a few tears, a hug from Daddy, a pep talk from his coach and he was in the mix again. So good to see him being a little tough. But still needs to look over at Mommy and get his "I love you" through the fence from time to time. We'll try to keep that forever! :)
He was the last up to bat in the first inning and the instruction is to not tag the ball on the last one so that each child receives the chance to have a homerun each season. Doster really hit the ball hard and ran all the bases...on his free home run. I didn't realize that is what happens and I was AMAZED that his good hit earned him a home run. :) It was so fun and we were so proud of our little guy who is growing up so fast!
Here are a few pictures of the evening....complete with ice cream cones at McDonalds with Grandpa and Grandma after the game. Fun summer evening making memories.
Doster called me back in his room before we stepped away from his door tonight saying he wanted to blow me some kisses. I leaned in his door and blew him a kiss and he grinned up at me and said "No, I want a kiss on the lippers!" My sweet boy.
