Mommy: Doster, I want you to go get in the van and buckle up.
(for the sake of review to ensure proper follow through I say, once again...)
Mommy: Doster, what are you going to do?
Doster: Obey my teachers.
Mommy: No, what are you going to do now?
Doster: Not hit girls.
Mommy: Doster, focus, what are you going to do right now, that Mommy told you to do?
Doster: I don't remember.
Mommy: Get in the van and buckle up!
Doster: Okay.

ReplyDeleteHere lately it's more like, "Jasper why did you just get a spanking?" (after of course explaining why he was about to get the spanking) "Welllllllllll, becauseeeeeeeee....I don't remember."
