Date

Doster's Valentine was a date with Mommy!  He was SO excited and thrilled to be such a big boy.  Jason got him a little velcro wallet to hold his $20 bill and he paid for our supper and movie.  He was given a good manly instruction talk about how to treat a lady before he left so he did a good job holding doors for Mommy and even wanted to drive.  I told him that I would have to drive but that he could tell me all the directions.  We had to drive the truck, of course.

The night initially was going to be spent at the dreaded McDonalds (by his choice) but on the way he said "Mommy, since McDonalds is so far away would you like to go to Chick-fil-A?"  Oh, he is a boy after my own heart!  So we enjoyed our Chick-fil-A meal looking out the window at the McDonalds across the street.  :)

We went to see a movie and then headed home.  What a special night spent with my one and only son.  I loved it and I think he was pretty thrilled too.
