Great Grandpa Kisses

Please enjoy this old scanned photo of Caroline kissing my Grandpa after he had broken his neck.
The story behind this scary fall is so precious as he was leaning in to to give my Grandma, who was suffering from Alzheimers/dementia at the time, a kiss.  When he did, he lost his balance and fell, resulting in his broken neck.
A few days after this visit to Iowa to see my Grandparents my Grandma passed away.  We were able to get such sweet pictures of Caroline with her Great Grandma, for which I am so thankful.
