Fall is in the air!
School is starting again, Jason leaves tomorrow morning for pre-planning. Even though he works through the summers doing landscaping, he is still available, so this is always such a hard time for me. I love the fall and what it means - routine, busyness, school fun, cool crisp air, cozy clothes, warm snuggles and my fall decorations....I could go on and on about my favorite season. BUT, it also means that I see much less of Jason. He's heading back to his routine, which is good for all of us, but we sure will miss having such easy access to the best guy around!!
This year will be a bit different as he will not be coaching volleyball. It was a huge decision for him to let this go but it came down to what was best for our family, at this time, and we won out!! Yeah for Jason! I am sure we'll be frequenting several volleyball games and enjoying the freedom of being spectators.
Another transition for me is when my dad goes back to school. I just like knowing he is 'just over the mountain' all summer, doing his things and keeping busy, but still available and free. I'm always sad when both of them leave and head back to their students. My mother wrote a really neat post....go take a peek.
Now I add my Sunshine to my list of good-byes and, humph, I'm going to be a little emotional over the next couple of days! :-)
