Doster's Mickey Mouse Birthday Party

Doster had such a fun birthday party with both of his grandparents and his Uncle Chris & Auntie. He has been talking about having a Mickey Mouse party for about a year...the request came just after his 3rd birthday party. I had fun finding some fun things for him (which included the $30 party pack that I found on clearance for $8-Mommy LOVES finding deals) and he really enjoyed the entire evening.

I could just eat this little guy up!

Mickey Mouse flip flops

We made pizzas again and everyone really enjoyed them! (Pizza Hut personal pan pizza pans I found on ebay for $1.60 a piece. Such a fun thing to have on hand for family get-togethers!)

I wanted to think of something fun for his cake this year and incorporate something he loves so here are little individual Mickey Mouse donut cakes. He absolutely LOVED it.

I didn't let him see his cake until we were singing Happy Birthday and he was so overwhelmed. He put his hand on my forehead and just kept staring in my eyes with a grin on his face. That is his "I am so overwhelmed and I don't know what to do with myself" look. So precious. I was thrilled that he loved it so much!

We told him to close his eyes and wait for Daddy to bring in our gift for him. I love this progression of pictures as he waited patiently and excitedly for his surprise.

Tackle box with all the necessary items for a fun afternoon with Daddy.

Knee and elbow pads, gloves and a new helmet from Papa and Minnie for his bike adventures. He thought he was pretty cool stuff when he got it all on. He kept dropping on the ground with his knees to truly use the pads...such a funny boy!

Camping chair from Uncle Charlie & Aunt Maggie

Two big galvanized pails and two big bouncy balls from Grandpa & Grandma...who would have thought he would have such (LOUD and CRAZY) fun?!

  1. Love the pictures, and your writing style. I too a bargain. Here is a site you might check out, the Debt Free Mom at: http://www.darasdeals.blogspot.com/
Sarah nursed both her boys, and with Riley she ended up pumping/freezing as he just wasn't that interested in the breast. They supplemented with formula as well. Hang in there Mom. I found going from two children to three made quite the difference. I don't know how your Mom did it with four!
