Caroline's Pierced Ears

Caroline has had a hard time learning to ride her bike...she has just

been so afraid. We've tried and tried for over a year and finally,

this weekend, she learned to ride her bike! What triumph for her

little heart!

(It took Doster saying he wanted to learn and us practicing with him

in order to get her ready to do it. She is quite a competitor at

heart!)

We told her, many months ago, that if she could conquer this fear we

would reward her with getting her ears pierced.

So last night we all headed to Claire's, at the mall. She was so

stoic and calm. I was amazed. I was the only one with tears in my

eyes just because she looked so old. As I watched the video I didn't

even see her blink when the earrings went in...pretty impressive.

They look so sweet and pretty in her ears just adding to her natural beauty.

Congratulations Sunshine!!

Hugging her little encourager that was standing next to her rubbing her arm telling her what a good job she was doing. He was her #1 cheerleader while she was riding her bike too...we can definitely already see one of his love languages/gifts shining through!
