This lesson is covered!

There are many important lessons we want to teach our children...the list is long! One lesson of great importance, to us, is to teach Doster to be a strong man, willing to fight for the women in his life! This lesson starts here at home where he has three ladies to fight for!

Doster is doing a GREAT job so far! A few weeks ago Doster's Sunday School teacher told us that he fell on the playground because there was a boy chasing Caroline and Doster ran to save her. He didn't do anything wrong, but in the shuffle of trying to "save Sissy" he fell down and hit his chin. We praised him for his effort to help his Sissy!

This past Sunday Caroline's great-uncle was playing around and teasing her. She was giggling and running away in pretend fright. Doster ran straight to his Uncle, grabbed his leg and started growling saying "Leave my Sissy alone!".

The latest example of Dosters herosim is his willingness to take care of spiders for Mommy and Sissy! A little tiny spider was crawling on Caroline's leg in the van and she started yelling. Doster immediately reached over and took care of that spider and killed it! There have been a few spiders in the house lately that he has valiantly killed and disposed of to save his girls and I LOVE IT!

He is so proud of himself and his bravery and it is precious to see him doing what it takes to keep these important girls safe. We've also reiterated to Caroline how blessed she is to have a brother who will do that for her and she needs to be very thankful to him.
We're still working on the gratitude aspect... :D
