Our First Bath!
Mary Anna's cord finally came off this morning at 7 1/2 weeks. Our kids tend to keep them on longer than normal but they still tested her blood platelets this past week to make sure everything was okay...which it was. They also cauterized the cord to help speed things up (the brown stuff around her belly button). She does have a small hernia in her belly button but once she starts using her tummy muscles more it will pop right back in.
It felt so good to submerse her and get her really clean. Sponge baths just don't cut it and I was so anxious to get her sudsy and clean! She loved every minute and only cried after the bath when we wrapped her in a towel. She wanted to be back in that warm water!

Rolls at the top of her legs and, hmmm, I think I see some forming at her ankles. :)
