What is in a name...

Mary Anna is named after my Mother's Grandma, Mary Elizabeth, and my Mother's Mother, Anna Mae. Jason and I chose this name as our girl choice in 2004 for the baby we lost at 12 weeks. Then when we were pregnant with Doster we would have named the baby Mary Anna had Doster been a girl. This name has been our desire for 4 and a half years and we've kept it a secret this whole time!

My heart's desire would have been to share it with my Grandpa, who died last spring, but he passed on before we were able to use it. It was his mother's and his wife's names.
Such precious legacy this little bundle carries in her name.

  3. I also remember Mary Elizabeth. We were both born on November 4, and almost every time she saw me at church, she'd say she was my twin. That was confusing to a grade school girl like me, but I liked the attention. And Anna Mae was a dear friend to me. So, welcome little Mary Anna Flowers. I will smile with memories each time I hear your name. Jan Jensen
