Girl's Weekend

This past weekend my Mother hosted a fun girl's weekend for my sister-in-laws Anna & Maggie, Katie, my sister, and I. The five of us had much fun laughing, talking, going to an Angela Thomas conference at our church, eating, movie watching, game playing, and sleeping. Fun memories were made and a special time was had by all.
We ended the weekend with a fun lunch at El Nopal after church and then we all headed back to our homes and hubbies.
Several years ago we decided to try and make one weekend a year a special weekend for us girls...without husbands or children (unless nursing). We've stayed at a cabin far in the woods, at a hotel right in the city and have found much reason for laughter and bonding during these precious weekends.
Thank you, Mother, for seeing these weekends as a priority for all of us, for creating special memories and making such a fun weekend possible!
