Little Sayings and Stories...

Caroline came home from school today with ANOTHER note from a little boy that says “I love you Caroline.” She said that he keeps asking her if she’ll be his girlfriend, his friend, and if he can be with her all the time. I asked her what she told him. She said “I told him to go ahead!” I said “Go ahead, what?” and she replied “Go ahead and stand in front of me in line.” WHEW!

I asked her what she told him when he asked her to be his girlfriend and she says “No way! My Mommy says no!” I don’t remember having that conversation but I don’t mind her saying that! I told her that her Daddy would say no too!

Later she told me that they made Christmas Wish Lists at school and one little girl asked for an iPod and another asked for an iPhone. I asked her what she put on her list - “A toy horse.” That’s my girl.

Mommy: Did you have a good day at recess?

Caroline: Yes, all the boys chased me and caught me.

Mommy: So you didn't play with the girls (the mean ones) - you played with the boys?

Caroline: No, they played with me!

When told that Mommy would be going to the Doctor in a few minutes, Doster said "Mommy, I already miss you when you have to go."

Mommy, I love spending the night with Grandpa. Thank you for making me spend the night with Grandpa. I love to be cozy and warm and spend the night with Grandpa. ~Doster
