I'm thankful for...

...my heavenly Father, my husband and children, my family, my house that I'm experiencing the season with for the first time, our jobs, and my growing tummy.

This holiday is extra special for me as I've never been pregnant over Thanksgiving before. It is with a new outlook that I experience this week of thankfulness. Today, with perfect timing, I had a doctor's appointment for a normal check-up. Since the video didn't record last time we got to have another ultrasound and see our wee one again. Mother and Katie joined me and it was such a precious time as we watched our little girl stretch her palm up, slowly open her mouth to yawn and then snuggle her head back down as her yawn was complete as she fell back to sleep.

I've watched this video many many times today with tears in my eyes. On the way home from the doctor I looked in my rear view mirror because I realized I was still grinning...just couldn't stop! I'm completely in awe of the life growing inside of me even though this is the 4th time I've known that I have a baby growing in me. To see this little girl yawn and snuggle into the warmth of my womb makes me overwhelmed with thankfulness to my Father, who has orchestrated this whole process.

Here is a picture from babycenter.com to give you an idea and in a week or so I'll post the actual video of our baby yawning. I can't right now because we can't find the remote to our dvd recorder and so we've got one ordered. Once it gets here I'll be sure to share our priceless footage.
