Community Helper

Caroline's class is dressing up as Community Helpers today and she wanted to be a Girl Farmer. That was an easy costume to come up with! She wore her overalls and plaid shirt like her Great Grandpa used to and a straw hat just like he used to wear. She is going to stand in front of the class to tell about her job so we sent a few things in with her.

She took a picture of the farm in Iowa along with a John Deere tractor to show the class. She was prepared to tell the class that her Grandpa used to help make John Deere tractors. She memorized how to say that her family has farmed for three generations.

She decided she was going to call herself Miss Jimmy like her Uncle Jimmy and then decided maybe she'd like Miss Farmer Jeannette instead. :)
