17 Weeks

No - my tush does not look quite as cute as this picture but the rest of the details are accurate to what it looks like inside my tummy! Our little one is a bit over 17 weeks now with changes in the baby's skeleton turning from soft cartilage to bone. The umbilical cord is growing stronger and thicker. The baby weighs about 5 ounces now and is about 5 inches long from head to bottom. The baby can move it's joints and sweat glands are starting to develop.

Next Monday, the 27th, we find out if we are having a boy or a girl. We'll be sure to let everyone know the exciting news that evening!
