Doster's Name

Doster is in such a thirsty-for-learning stage right now and is wanting to learn how to write his name. Here is is after tracing a few letters on the white board. So proud!

As I type this I hear him in there saying iiiiiiiI, eeeeeeE, ccccccC - Doster! :)



Last night our neighbor brought over some tomatoes and he has a little dog that the kids get all excited over. We constatly tell them to try to calm down because Pete gets too excited. Last night, as always, the kids weren't listening and Doster ran straight into his leash, Pete ran fast and it circled Doster's neck. I quickly got him untangled but Doster was very upset. I tried to calm him, help our neighbor not feel bad and also tell Doster that this is why Mommy and Daddy try to tell him to not run around Pete. Well, little did I know, that leash really burned his neck. I felt so bad for him as it REALLY hurt. We checked on his last night and he sat up in bed and just said "oouch" in his sleepy state. It doesn't bother him as much this morning but sure looks bad!
