Snickers and Coke

This Friday we will be saying good-bye to Charlie and Maggie because they are moving to North Carolina. We are excited for them in their move but selfishly very sad to be seeing them go. Charlie has lived a few miles from us for a few years now and Maggie has been with him since their wedding in December. We love their impromptu visits and their precious willingness to help us out with projects and just giving us a sanity break of adult conversation.

For example, last week Charlie called to make sure naptime was over and he brought us Cokes in glass bottles and Snickers bars to enjoy. Charlie, Jason, Doster and I sat around the kitchen table enjoying our special treats from Will's Grocery (an old small community "general store" run by an older couple who love the kids visiting for a cold glass bottled pop).

We are really going to miss you guys!
