Jason

My goal, in this post, is to honor Jason for the Daddy he is to our children. When we married and started our family 9 years ago, I don't think either of us fully understood what the future was really going to hold. We had been through a bit of tough stuff in our dating so we weren't completely naive to the fact that it wouldn't be easy...but we definitely didn't know what was ahead of us.

In the midst of the struggles and hard lessons we've learned, Jason has blossomed into exactly what the Lord as called him to be...a Daddy. He has patience, a firm hand, objectivity in making decisions, a youthful approach to his playfulness, just the right amount of humor, kindness, the knowledge to answer most of Caroline's trivia questions, commitment, drive and love.

All of these things, and many more, make up Jason and the father he is to Caroline and Doster. They can't begin to understand just how blessed they are to have Jason as their Daddy...
