Details

Does anyone else become overwhelmed with the details? The details of the schedules, the clothes needed, groceries to shop for, cards to write, meals to plan, emails to send, pictures to file and develop, bag to pack for outings, meetings to attend, maintenance to keep up with, tasks for work, doctor appointments, birthday parties to plan, insurance to review and organizing all of the above?

Lately I am feeling overwhelmed with these things and have tried to find a balance between the need to accomplish and the need to stay sane.

As neurotic as it may sound, Jason and I have "meetings" to go over calendars and weekly meetings to go over bills in an attempt to stay on top of everything.

Still there are many times I sit down at my desk for work (my actual job) and can't focus because of the piles of bills/mail/to-do's that pile up so quickly and that need to be filed or sent or accomplished in some way.

I wish I could say this post was going to end with my newfound solution to the details...but it won't except to say that Jason and I are in it together - as much as we can be. During my stressful moments he is so good to take over the kids and let me plow through my overwhelming piles.
