My Doster
Lately I have been thinking quite a bit about the joys of being a Mommy to a little boy. Doster has such a different approach to everything and it is so fun to watch him grow and get into things.
He is our sweet little entertainer and loves to make his family laugh -- which we do, quite a bit. He's ready to learn and surprised us the other day counting to 5, something we hadn't been working on. Its the alphabet that has been our main focus...which has helped us discover the need to help Doster learn how to focus!
Doster loves all of us and shows it so sweetly. When Jason has been away from home for a few evenings you'd think Doster is going crazy with a need to wrestle. His Sissy receives lots of snuggles and giggles as he tries to make her laugh. He tries to learn so much from her and she is a willing teacher. My favorite - his love for his Mommy is so precious. His snuggles, little grins and winks that are saved just for me are just so precious and dear to my heart. Dimples and brown eyes that crinkle with his grins don't help me when I am trying to be stern as he has such a unique way of melting my heart.

He's such a fun kid! There is something so different about raising boys. I totally get it about the need to wrestle. My kids are just itching for their Daddy to toss them around. It's just not the same for them when I try it.
