Adjusting to our house...

I haven't had much time to blog lately but thought I'd sit down tonight and add a few pictures. We've been adjusting to our new home, loving every corner. It is amazing that we had our moments of missing our old house...because it represented what was comfortable and secure. Gradually, this is becoming what is comfortable, familiar and secure. The kids have had lots of ups and downs in their behavior, tiredness, and moods but all-in-all they've done great. Doster still insists on calling this the "new house" and Caroline bursts forth with reminding him that it is "home" which always causes an argument. He'll adjust. :)

They will snuggle anywhere, new house or old.

Their new breakfast spot.

Our wonderful deck, which I enjoyed with Mother for awhile this afternoon.

Denver has had a rough week as we tried out an electric fence that was pretty hard on our poor old Denver (we got him from the pound when we were dating 11 years ago). We've smothered him with love and attention to try to bring him back from his cowering state. By the way, we returned the fence as it just wasn't for this dog!

Doster didn't want him to go back to his sun bathing spot on the bottom deck.

  1. I enjoyed the pictures. It is nice seeing your kids adjust to a new home as I know this will be us in just a week.
