Thanksgiving Weekend

What a fun weekend! Thursday we all were at my parent's for Thanksgiving...all four kids and their spouses/to-be. We had a nice day, ate lots and played Charlie and Maggie's Wii game at their house after we went and visited our new house under construction. We had fun playing boxing and bowling and laughing at each other. I think the fun ended with a bit of leg wrestling...? Did we get any pictures from that day?

On Friday Ben & Anna came and took the kids to Chuck-E-Cheese and they had such a fun time making memories with their Uncle Ben & Aunt Anna. That night we decorated the Gingerbread Tree for the table.

Saturday Charlie brought over his new truck that looks like a cute red Tonka Truck. The kids got such a kick out of their ride with Uncle Charlie.

Later we went over to our friends, the Vickrey's, for popcorn and hot chocolate and watched Polar Express with a projector on their wall. It was so fun and a neat tradition we started 3 years ago. A special addition to the Thanksgiving weekend.

Today we decorated the Christmas tree complete with a warm crackling fire.

This weekend was so special and relaxing for us because it was spent with family and friends we love...and because we all took a 3 hour nap today! :)
