Caroline's 5th Birthday!

Today was Caroline's 5th birthday and she had a fun day. Tonight she fell in bed exhausted dreaming of Saturday.

Last night before we went to sleep I remembered that five years ago, after I was induced, the contractions started right about the time we were falling asleep last night. Then, as I type this, a little less than 24 hours later, it is hard to believe I was STILL having contractions at this point with little change. Whew, and I thought I had a big day today! :)
Tuesday evening our dear friends, the Demmins, came over and celebrated Caroline's birthday with her since they can't be here for her party on Saturday. They outdid themselves bringing pizza, a beautifully decorated horse cake, and presents. Caroline loved her night with Kaytlyn and her horsey fun!

Sarah and I have been close friends for almost 8 years now and it is so special to see our daughters form a similar bond.

Tonight Caroline's birthday dinner ended with cake and a present. She wore the crown that Mrs. Karla gave her in Preschool.
