August Fun

Thankfully August has been a slower month, we've enjoyed the start of Jason's school year at a brand new school 3 miles from home. He is coaching the girls volleyball team and we are excited to get to know these sweet girls and watch them grow on and off the court.

We also sold Patch of Flowers Landscaping after 5 1/2 years. We are excited to concentrate on one career for awhile and be able to have some much needed family time and sanity.

Caroline started preschool 3 days a week from 9:15 - 1:15 and is enjoying each day. She is in the same class with her friend Libby, who comes to our house in the morning and spends the day with us after the girls get out of preschool.

Doster misses Sissy and can't wait to pick her up. He is adjusting well to her being gone for part of the day. He is such a sweetheart and is talking quite a bit along with running and ramming into everything with the grace of a bull in a china shop. I am looking forward to a few extra hours of alone time with him each week in this next year while Caroline is at preschool.

I am still with Innovative Outsourcing and my hours are going to increase just a tad this fall. My days will be full but I am excited about the changes.

We've said goodbye to the business with thankfulness. The Lord provided so much for us through the last 5 or so years and part of that provision came in the shape of this business. It grew both of us in ways we couldn't have imagined. We are relieved and glad to release it but do so with much gratitude to our Father, to the many people who supported us through this time, and to our customers, some of whom became friends.

On our way to Caroline's first rodeo in Blue Ridge.

Such a snuggler

He fits like a glove in those big arms.

Caroline and Doster snuggling while they watch cartoons. I love this picture!

See how high she got that ball? :)

Doster has had many adjustments but this was his first successful one out of my arms and no screaming for Dr. Garber.

  1. I love the picture of Caroline going to the rodeo, the picture of doster sleeping Jason's arm from above, and Doster being adjusted. You should email that to Dr. Garber! Cute!
